Responsibilities
Asa Posner is SIG’s Vice President of Sales and leads SIG’s Minneapolis office. In addition to his leadership role driving strategic growth and leading SIG’s sales team, he also works in a senior project management role as one of SIG’s LEED consultants and as a LEED credential exam prep trainer.

Education
Asa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with a degree in Environmental Studies. He earned his LEED Fellow in 2023 and is a LEED Accredited Professional with specialties in both Building Design & Construction as well as Operations & Maintenance.

Experience
Asa’s entire career has focused on sustainability in the built environment. With over 14 years of LEED consulting, building commissioning, and sustainability experience, he has worked on over 200 LEED projects including new construction, major renovations, commercial interiors and tenant fit-outs, core & shell developments, k-12 schools, warehouses, data centers, convention centers, sports stadiums, and existing office buildings. In total, Asa has helped certify over 50 million square feet of LEED certified space. Learn more here.

Interests
Asa’s primary interest in sustainability involves the effects of urbanization and the built environment on ecosystem health. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys tennis, playing acoustic fingerstyle blues guitar, and fanatically cheering on the Atlanta Braves (and talking about them with anyone who will listen).
