Overview:
171 17th Street is a 22-story high-rise Class A office structure that offers 533,259 square feet of space. It is located in Atlantic Station in the Midtown district of Atlanta, and offers easy access to I-75, I-85, the MARTA/subway and the bus line. Designed by Smallwood-Reynolds-Stewart-Stewart & Associates, Inc. and completed in 2004 this impressive structure offers highly visible signage opportunities. The modernism architectural style and glass curtain wall facade are an impressive sight even at night. Visitors and workers in this building enjoy panoramic views of downtown Atlanta.

From this building that was developed by AIG Global Real Estate and is owned by Wells Fargo, commuters and visitors can easily take advantage of banking, dining, shopping and conferencing opportunities. The three-story parking structure that is situated directly below makes accessing offices and the many nearby amenities very convenient.

Sustainable Investment Group (SIG), has helped the owners of this 171 17th Street property achieve the status of “one of the best business addresses in Atlanta.” This building has been awarded the ENERGY STAR label in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The use of high performance glass and the building’s design allow the 7,144 lites of glass to take full advantage of the natural light while minimizing heat gain. Automatic shades in parts of the building assure that sunlight is controlled appropriately to maximize efficiency.

171 17th Street is a 22-story, dual-certified multi-tenant office building located on a brownfield (the former Atlantic Steel Mill site) at the Atlantic Station development in midtown Atlanta, GA. It earned LEED Core & Shell Silver certification upon its construction in 2004 and then pursued LEED for Existing Buildings several years later, where it also earned LEED Silver. It is now pursuing LEED Gold for its first recertification period. 171 17th Street was the first-ever LEED Silver Core & Shell certified high-rise office building, and the first high-rise office building in Georgia to receive any LEED certification.
