Lauren Pendleton is a Sustainability Consultant at SIG where she provides oversight to project teams pursuing LEED and Green Globes certification for new and existing buildings.
Lauren graduated from Vassar College with a degree in Environmental Studies and a focus in Renewable Energy Technology. She built a biodiesel fuel processing facility, producing and distributing biodiesel at the college as a part of her thesis project.
Lauren has extensive project management and sustainability consulting experience including the administration of Utility Demand Side Management (DSM) programs, LEED consulting for a variety of project types including new construction, major renovations, commercial interiors, K-12 schools and major universities, core & shell, and existing buildings. She also has experience administering Green Globes projects and the EarthCraft House program, energy modeling and commissioning coordination, eco-charrette/workshop facilitation, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, resource conservation sales & marketing, and outreach.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young sons, and Border Collie/Aussie Shepherd pup, primarily on outdoor adventures such as hiking, skiing (snow and water), and playing/coaching soccer.
