As SIG continues to grow as an industry leader, we have added a new member to the Technical Services and Engineering Team, Nick Kassanis. Nick, born and raised in Athens, Greece, came to the United States in 2006 where he enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Nick served as the chair of Student Activities for the Atlanta ASHRAE Chapter where he was also on the Board of Directors. He is currently the Research Promotion Chair of the ASHRAE Atlanta Chapter. Nick previously worked as an Associate Commissioning Authority for WorkingBuildings, LLC in Atlanta as well as working as a mechanical engineering intern in Athens, Greece at TERNA SA.

Outside of work, Nick is an avid basketball and soccer enthusiast and enjoys playing soccer in his spare time. He also volunteers in the local community. SIG is glad to have Nick as a part of the team and looks forward to all of the contributions he will make both at work and in the community.
